Dinner in Honour of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea.

Mr. Afan Aziz, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Korea in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, hosted a distinguished dinner in honour of H.E. Han Sung-ho, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, at his residence in Islamabad on 11 August 2026. The dinner was attended by a distinguished gathering of senior political leaders, diplomats, business leaders and prominent members of Pakistan’s corporate community. Notable guests included Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Chairman Senate of Pakistan; Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue; Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, Former Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan; Jalil Abbas Jilani, Former Foreign Secretary of Pakistan; Senator Mohsin Aziz; Senator Azam Swati; Mr. Usman Shaukat, President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Mr. Mujeeb Zahur, Managing Director and Country Head of S&P Global Pakistan; and Mr. Nassir Kasuri, CEO of Beaconhouse International College, among other distinguished dignitaries. The gathering provided an opportunity for meaningful interaction and exchange of views among prominent figures from the diplomatic, political and business communities, while further strengthening Pakistan–Korea relations, business cooperation, cultural understanding and people-to-people ties.
